The first major race of the 2008 season was the B’laster Cavalcade of Stars. We had planned a few other major events before this one, but Mother Nature has a way of trashing the best of plans. Despite the lousy weather during the early part of the season, turnouts were great, and as usual, our guests made the bad weather seem less important. Here a few pictures from that event. What a race, and what a finish to the 2008 NHRA drag racing season! The season final, in Pomona, California was defined by surprise moments, monumental wins, and crushing defeats. NHRA announced today that the 2009 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Season will begin with the Top Fuel and Funny Car categories racing to 1,000 feet. All other professional and sportsman classes will remain at 1,320 feet.
